The Future is Now session was a great learning experience that showed me how supportive the NCTE and English teacher community really is.
The session was encouraging for me as a future educator, to see so many young people passionate about their research topics and plans for their future classrooms. It was a fun, professional environment, and I was excited to present to my peers.
This session was full of energy and I learned so much from my presenting peers as well as the table respondents.
My experience at the Future Is Now session was very positive. I left the session feeling supported, energized, and more confident in my research and teaching abilities.
I had a wonderful time presenting at the Future is Now Session. It was so rewarding to present my research in a small roundtable format and to be able to hear and discuss my and other students' work with more experienced professionals.
A great experience. It was fulfilling to have a chance to discuss my capstone research with people I had never met before, and to hear the other presenters at my table as well.
It was great to have an energetic space with pre-service and early teachers to share ideas. The Future Is Now session was informative, inspiring, and will be an experience that I remember!
I had such a lovely experience, and I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to attend and present this year. I was able to make connections with other educators, and I feel so sustained after this experience, as I was exposed to such a large, warm community of educators who have similar passions to my own.
I really enjoyed my experience with the Future is Now session. Everyone involved was supportive and knowledgeable. It was great to interact with other pre-service teachers as well as veteran teachers.
It was a low-pressure way to practice sharing a part of my teaching with other people who are learning how to teach. I also received feedback from a faculty member on how I could develop the assignment I presented.
My experience with the "Future Is Now" session was absolutely transformative, being able to connect with other people interested in the same areas as me.
Loved the conference. Loved the session. Loved the experience. :)
It was the best thing I've done in my 3.5 years as an undergraduate.
